Springing Into Action
The 5-1 win against Bournemouth was exactly the spark that we needed going into a run of extremely heavy fixtures. Not only did it strengthen our goal difference, but we saw sparks from players that have not shown since the turn of the year. Treat yourself to the highlights to see Emery’s ideas take shape:

Most notable are the foals and a big save from Leno. The buildup play between Mkhitaryan and Ozil showed confidence and understanding. Lacazette showed composure for a classy free kick. Aubameyang’s goal was awesome to see. When was the last time that we had a forward able to pick up the ball and accelerate through half of the pitch for a finish?
Emery's Ideas Taking Shape
It’s a shame that the second half of the North London Derby will leave a sour taste in the mouth. It’s undeniable that the players are responding well to the tactics and methods of Unai Emery. This can be seen on the pitch, as well as in the comradery amongst the squad. I do not believe that genuine connections show on the pitch unless the belief extends throughout.
The result today makes the United match the most important for the remainder of the season. We may hit some speed bumps against the lower table sides but the Arsenal fixture list is largely full of expected wins.
